ExplainMyNumbers is a financial explanation tool. It produces auditable reports from Stripe exports and bank statements. It is not an accounting service, tax service, or financial advisor. Reports are for informational purposes only.

2. Accepted use

You may use ExplainMyNumbers for your own financial data or data you are authorized to process. You must not upload data that belongs to a third party without their explicit consent.

3. Data accuracy

Reports are generated deterministically from the files you upload. The quality of the output depends entirely on the quality and completeness of the input files. We make no guarantee that every payout or transaction will be explained — unexplained items are flagged explicitly in the report.

4. No financial advice

Nothing in ExplainMyNumbers constitutes accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for all decisions made based on these reports. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

5. Limitation of liability

ExplainMyNumbers is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss, damage, or decision made based on the reports generated. This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses, tax errors, or accounting discrepancies.

6. Data retention and deletion

Uploaded data is retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted. You can delete your data at any time from the dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including accounts used for bulk processing of third-party data without authorization.

8. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
